STATIONARY: a recession-era musical produced by Delinquent Theatre

Directed by Laura McLean with additional direction by Chelsea Haberlin, music director Steven Greenfield, choreographer Kayla Dunbar. Rehearsals begin mid-March 2015, contract ends May 2nd 2015. Contract includes a 1 week run at Talk is Free Theatre in Barrie Ontario, and a 2 week run at the Cultch in Vancouver BC. This is a non-Equity contract with a weekly artist fee. Aiden: Early 20’s. Recent university grad and new employee at Northern Light Communications. Eager, idealistic people-pleaser who is struggling with his transition into ‘real life’. Must be a strong singer, a competent beat-boxer and skilled in at least two instruments (piano strongly preferred, brass or woodwinds an asset).
Actors will be asked to accompany themselves while singing a song of their choice. A piano will be available. Actors may also demonstrate their proficiency in other instruments to a maximum of 3 minutes. Sides for a short scene will also be provided.
